Description
Characteristics
Application

MasterKure 101 | Membrane former based on acrylic emulsion, designed to protect fresh concrete and cement-based coatings from moisture weathering.

Due to the formation of a coat on the surface, moisture is retained in the concrete layer, which has a beneficial effect on the curing of concrete / coating, reduces the risk of shrinkage cracks.

Scope of varnish Masterkur 101

  • Concrete laying in strong wind or high air temperature;

  • Maintenance of freshly laid MasterEmaco repair mortars, especially in hard-to-reach places;

  • high-rise buildings;

  • Airports and street concretes;

  • Road concrete roads;

  • Maintenance of MasterTop cement-based surface hardener.

Features and Benefits

  • Holds the moisture necessary for cement hydration in the body of concrete, forming a film on the surface;

  • Much more effective than classical methods such as covering with wet burlap, film, moisturizing;

  • Gives a more durable, waterproof, dense and smooth surface;

  • Reduces the risk of shrinkage cracks from drying out;

  • Both cement and polymer coatings can be applied on top;

  • The ideal solution for applications in hard-to-reach places;

  • Easy to use, greatly reduces labor costs;

The procedure for applying varnish membrane former Masterkur 101

  • Applied by uniform spraying on the surface or applied by roller to freshly laid concrete/cement coating;

  • Apply to the final smoothed concrete surface, or to the surface immediately after formwork has been removed.

Consumption

  • The recommended consumption is 0.2-0.25 kg/m2 per concrete surface, 0.15-0.20 kg/m2 per hardener surface;

  • For very hot or windy weather, the consumption can be 0.30 kg/m2;

  • In the shade and indoors, consumption may decrease.

Precautionary measures

  • When applying by spray, make sure that the substrate is evenly covered;

  • When applying by roller, apply evenly in a thin layer, avoiding the formation of puddles.

Cleaning tools
