A task
It is required to dismantle the old asphalt floor, prepare a soft base and install an industrial concrete floor with topping.

Solution
It was decided to use a dry hardener for concrete floors, MasterTop 430 topping (dry shake toppings), as a wear-resistant finish coating.

Stages of work
Dismantling the old floor
They dismantled the old asphalt pavement, down to the ground, using specialized equipment and machinery.

The soft soil was compacted using a road roller.

Concrete floor reinforcement
Laying a polypropylene membraine and mounting a reinforcing frame made of metal reinforcement.

Concrete acceptance and topping grouting by helicopters (trowels).

Application of MasterCure 101 acrylic lacquer for fresh concrete.
- Laying a polypropylene film on a concrete floor to protect against rapid evaporation of moisture.

Cutting control seams in topping floors and sealing

Cutting expansion joints, using a joint cutter, with 6 * 6 m cards.

Dusting of concrete joints.

Laying a foamed polypropylene tow 6 mm in a shrinkage seam, to a depth of 5 mm.

Application of polyurethane primer MasterSeal P 640 along the edges of the seam to increase the adhesion of the sealant to concrete.
- Sealing concrete joints with a manual gun and MasterSeal NP 474 gray polyurethane sealant.

After the concrete has matured, about 28 days, the topping turns into a wear-resistant and durable monolithic coating.

Resistant to abrasion, pressure, and repairable base.
- Topping floors do not require special care, however, wet cleaning with floor scrubbers and periodic polishing will extend the life of the industrial floor in the production room, without the formation of cement dust.
