WATERBLOCK PENETRATE | It is a dry waterproofing mixture and is used as a coating after mixing it with water.
-
When applying the finished material to the surface, WATERBLOCK PENETRATE, which reacted with water, penetrates deep into the structures, forming waterproof crystals, sealing pores and hairline cracks in concrete, to a depth of 150 mm;
-
For the formation of crystals, WATERBLOCK PENETRATE requires the presence of moisture;
-
When there is no moisture, the chemical reaction stops;
-
The crystallization mechanism is resumed when water is applied again to the surface of the structure or its inflow from the opposite side;
-
Such waterproofing withstands both positive and negative water pressure, while the water resistance index is much higher than W12;
-
WATERBLOCK PENETRATE, unlike WATERBLOCK, provides a waterproof surface, combining the coating with the ability to penetrate deep into the structure by forming waterproofing crystals.
WATERBLOCK PENETRATE
-
Seals structures and does not depend on possible damage to the coated surface;
-
It has high adhesive and penetrating properties, which makes it possible to successfully solve the problem of water tightness of concrete structures;
-
It is applied, both at positive, and at negative pressure of water on concrete;
-
Seals cracks and pores up to 0.4 mm wide in cases where they appear after applying the coating;
-
Protects concrete from frost, penetration of chlorides, as well as exposure to aggressive salts and carbon dioxide;
-
Possesses vapor permeability that allows designs to "breathe";
-
Can be used in cases of contact with drinking water;
- Apply to wet or fresh concrete.

WATERBLOCK PENETRATE is used for waterproofing any concrete structures .
Meets all sealing requirements, from simple watertightness to waterproofing structures under high water pressure.
Scope for all industries
-
Tunnels;
-
Dams;
-
Channels;
-
Drinking water tanks;
-
Waste water tanks;
-
Pools;
-
wells;
-
Basements;
-
Foundation structures;
-
Wet room surfaces;
-
Industrial floors (including livestock and poultry farms);
-
Bases for facing plates;
-
Base and floor slabs;
-
Terraces, including "green" ones (for gardens);
- Flower girls.
Foundation preparation
-
In the presence of active leaks, they should be sealed with WATERFIX hydraulic cement (hydroseal);
-
The surface must be clean and have open porosity;
-
In the case of a smooth or glossy surface, it should be roughened with a wire brush, sandblasted or water-blasted, or chemically treated;
-
The base must be well moistened, but without the formation of puddles;
-
Potholes and depressions should be filled with VIMACRET Repair Mortar or VIMACRET-TH Thixotropic Repair Mortar;
-
Metal and wooden embedded parts must be either removed or built into the structure to a depth of 3 cm, the voids are filled with VIMACRET repair mortar;
-
Joints and cracks larger than 4 mm should be deepened to 3 cm and filled with VIMACRET;
- At the junctions of the floor-wall, it is necessary to make a semicircular plinth (fillet) from the VIMACRET repair mortar, with a side of 5-6 cm.
Kneading
-
To form a homogeneous mass suitable for application with a brush (maklovitsa) or spray gun, dry powder, while kneading, should be slowly added to water;
-
After obtaining a homogeneous mass of medium consistency, make a five-minute pause, then mix a little more and then the material can be applied to the surface;
- The application time of the finished mixture is approximately 20-30 minutes (at a temperature of 20°C).
Application of WATERBLOCK PENETRATE
-
Ready-to-work coating is applied (with a brush or spray gun) in two layers (layers are applied perpendicular to each other);
-
The thickness of each layer should not exceed 1 mm.
-
The second layer is applied after the previous one;
-
Before applying the next layer, if the previous one is dry, the surface must be moistened again.
Maturation process
-
After completion of work, the coated surface must be moistened for 2-3 days;
-
Moisturizing is carried out 2-3 times a day. Thus, there is a proper maturation of the material;
-
Freshly applied coating must be protected from rain and frost.

Material consumption
WATERBLOCK PENETRATE is applied in two layers at the rate of 1.5-2.0 kg/m2. It depends on the degree of roughness of the base.
Foundation slabs
Before concreting the foundation, the concrete base is coated with one layer of WATERBLOCK PENETRATE waterproofing at the rate of 1.2-1.4 kg/m2.
Concrete floors
-
Before laying the floors, the existing subfloor can be covered with a layer of waterproofing WATERBLOCK PENETRATE at a rate of 1.2 kg/m2;
-
On a freshly made concrete floor, WATERBLOCK PENETRATE dry mix can be applied in the form of a topping and immediately treated with either a disc or paddle trowel.
Shelf life/storage
-
The shelf life and warranty storage of the dry mixture is 24 months;
-
The material must be stored in covered, dry rooms, in sealed original packaging, as the material is hygroscopic.
