MasterSeal 591 | Hydroseal and quick concrete repair

• The base must be clean and solid.

• Before applying the material, the surface should be thoroughly moistened with water.

• Places of active water filtration must be expanded with a perforator or manually by at least 20 mm in width and depth, remove all weakened concrete particles.

• MasterSeal 591 5kg /water 1.2-1.4 l.

• The density of the mixture is 2.14 kg/l.

• It is necessary to work in rubber protective gloves! 

• Pour MasterSeal 591 into a clean mixing container and add water in the amount of ≈0.24-0.28 l of water per 1 kg.

• Mixing must be done manually with a spatula until a plastic mass is obtained. 

• It is necessary to mix thoroughly and quickly to a viscous dense consistency. 

• Do not mix the frozen mixture again.

• The prepared solution must be given a conical shape in the hands. 

• When forming the material, rubber gloves must be used.

• After the setting process has begun, the previously shaped material is pressed firmly by hand into the breakthrough site.

• Pressure should be applied for approximately 1 minute.

• Do not withdraw your hand, trowel or spatula too quickly during application.

• Twisting movements must not be made while sealing holes with material.

• Excess material should be removed with a trowel or spatula.

• The material must not be applied to frozen surfaces.

• Material application temperature from: +5°С to +35°С.

• The material must not be used to fill active cracks.

• Do not use material to fill expansion joints.

• Re-hardened material must not be stirred.

• Do not use the material if hard lumps have formed in it.

• The air temperature and the substrate temperature must be at least 5º C or not more than 25º C.

• MasterSeal 591 gains strength very quickly.

• Moisturize it within 30 minutes after application.

• The coating must be protected from direct sunlight, wind, frost or rain for 24 hours.

• The application time of cement systems depends on the temperature and relative humidity of the air.

• At low temperatures, the reaction slows down, which increases the working time and setting time.

• High temperature speeds up the reaction and the times mentioned above are reduced.

• In order for the material to harden, the temperatures of the material, substrate and air cannot be less than the minimum permitted temperatures.

• When applying the material in the cold, use hot mixing water, at least +25°C.

• Clean tools and equipment with warm soapy water after use.

• Once MasterSeal 591 has hardened, it can be mechanically removed from the surface.

Canister: 5 kg.

• Store in original, unopened packaging in cool, dry conditions, protected from frost. 

• For short-term storage, a maximum of 3 pallets can be stacked one on top of the other. 

• For long-term storage, pallets cannot be stacked one on top of the other.

• The guaranteed shelf life of MasterSeal 591 in unopened undamaged packaging is 6 months.

• Store only on pallets covered with stretch film in a dry place.

• Protect from direct sunlight and rain.

• Failure to comply with the recommended storage conditions may result in damage to the material or packaging. 

• Opened packages must be tightly closed immediately and used within one week after opening.

Security measures

• Do not approach storage facilities during a fire;

• Store products in well-ventilated areas;

• During work, work clothes, protective gloves, goggles and a mask should be used in accordance with health and safety regulations;

• Since uncured materials have an irritating effect, contact of the components with the skin and eyes should not be allowed, and in case of contact, rinse with plenty of water;

• If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately;

• It is forbidden to bring food and drink to the construction site where the product is used; 

• The product must be kept out of the reach of children.
