Installation of industrial floors
Ultralit Hard Premium | Lithium hardener with an ultra-high active dry residue on a water basis, used for hardening, dedusting of new and existing concrete floors.
-
The product component - active lithium silicate enters into a chemical reaction with concrete components with the formation of insoluble calcium hydrosilicate compounds (CSH), which give concrete additional strength, reduce dusting, and facilitate the cleaning of concrete floors;
- Taking into account the fact that the chemical reaction occurs in the upper layer of concrete, concrete protection with Ultralit Hard Premium material is more reliable and durable than traditional surface coatings, because it never peels off and is not exposed to the influence of moisture in concrete.
BENEFITS
-
The highest content of lithium in the industry: up to 18%;
-
Active components: 100% dry residue;
-
Fast hardening and dedusting reaction: 14-28 days;
-
Can be applied to concrete of any age;
-
Excellent penetrating ability: 2-8 mm on ground concrete;
-
Increases the abrasive resistance of concrete by 20-50%;
-
Does not cause alkali-silicate reaction (ASR);
-
Good resistance to the penetration of water and to the formation of spots;
-
Does not change the sliding coefficient of the floor;
-
Extremely fast application: minutes instead of days;
-
The most economical concrete floor strengthening system per 1 m2 in the world;
- Absolutely "GREEN" and safe water-based product.

Precautions / Restrictions
-
Always clean the surface of dirt, plaque, membrane-forming agents, coatings that may prevent Ultralit Hard Premium from penetrating the structure of the base;
-
Apply the product only when the air temperature is above +2ºC, at least within 4 hours after application;
-
At high air temperatures, it is recommended to cool the concrete surface by spraying a small amount of water on the surface before applying Ultralit Hard Premium;
- Protect metal, glass, wooden, brick surfaces from getting hit by Ultralit Hard Premium;
-
If the product gets on these surfaces, wash the surface with water.
Application technology
-
There is no need to prepare the surface before applying Ultralit Hard Premium on freshly laid concrete;
-
Cut seams after final surface treatment (usually within 24-48 hours after grouting);
-
Clean the concrete surface from dust and dirt;
-
In the case of applying the product to existing concrete, thoroughly clean the surface, remove all dust, dirt, membrane former;
-
Allow the surface to dry;
-
It is recommended to use grinding equipment and a diamond tool to remove the weak top layer of concrete, and also, if necessary, to open the crushed stone filler;
-
Recommended level of sanding/polishing before applying Ultralit Hard Premium : 100-400 grit plastic.
-
Using a low-pressure sprayer, apply the first coat of Ultralit Hard Premium with a rate to cover the entire surface without the formation of bubbles;
-
Spread the product evenly over the surface, using a mop and a microfiber mop, pre-wetting the mop with the product;
-
The average consumption in the case of freshly laid concrete is 15-20 m2/l, in the case of existing concrete 10-15 m2/l;
-
Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10-15 minutes after applying the product;
-
Apply the product again to areas where the surface has dried faster than in 10 minutes;
-
Allow the surfaces to dry completely - standard 1 hour;
-
In the case of freshly laid concrete: apply a membrane forming agent or use other methods to retain moisture in the concrete;
-
In the case of existing concrete, to obtain high-gloss polished concrete, use a grinding technique, gradually changing the diamond tool to the level of 800 - 3000 grit plastic;
-
If filling of the seams is planned after applying Ultralit Hard Premium , the seams must be thoroughly cleaned before filling;
-
Cleaning with a diamond disc is recommended;
-
The surface is ready for use as soon as it has completely dried, while the chemical reaction in the concrete will take place within 2 weeks, depending on the temperature and humidity conditions.
-
Clean the brushes, tool, equipment, sprayer with clean water immediately after use.
SERVICE
- Do not use acidic cleaning agents (pH below 7) to clean treated floors;
-
Despite the fact that Ultralit Hard Premium will improve the resistance of the floor to the penetration of various media and the formation of stains, some acid products can leave stains on the surface;
-
Clean up any spills as quickly as possible;
-
Daily dusting with a mop will keep the floors in excellent condition for a long time;
-
Regular cleaning of the floor with a washing machine will improve the gloss of the surface.
