Cleaning products
-
Fresh: water;
-
In the hardened state mechanically;
-
All given time intervals are valid at a temperature of + 23 ° C and a relative humidity of 50%.
- An increase in temperature and a decrease in humidity accelerates, while a decrease in temperature and an increase in humidity slow down the processing and curing time.
Foundation preparation
-
The base must meet the following requirements;
-
Dry, clean and unfrozen;
-
Able to bear the load;
-
Cleaned from grease, oil, paint, cement laitance, delamination and construction waste;
Also note
-
It is necessary to professionally repair existing cracks;
-
Level uneven bases;
-
Absorbent surfaces must be primed with BOTAMENT D 11 primer;
Cooking
-
Add dry component to liquid;
-
Mix with a low-speed mixer, at least 2 minutes, until a homogeneous pasty mass is obtained;
-
After ripening, stir again;
Application
-
Waterproofing coatings with BOTAMENT MD 2The Blue 1 must be applied in a minimum of 2 coats using a paintbrush or spatula;
-
The total thickness of the dry layer of waterproofing is not less than 2 mm (2.4 mm wet layer according to);
-
The maximum dry film thickness should not exceed 4 mm;
-
For subsequent laying of tiles, BOTAMENT M 21 MULTISTONE or BOTAMENT M29, BOTAMENT M 10 Speed or BOTAMENT EF 500 / EK 500 adhesives can be used.
- For waterproofing joints, internal and external corners, it is necessary to use BOTAMENT SB 78 sealing tapes and accessories, which must be glued on the first layer of waterproofing and covered with a second layer.
Recommendations
-
During drying, BOTAMENT MD 2The Blue 1 must be protected from moisture, precipitation, sunlight, as well as from sudden temperature fluctuations;
-
During drying, the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 80%;
-
BOTAMENT MD 2The Blue 1 must not be used in places with mechanical stress;
- Avoid moisture on the back of the waterproofing.
-
BOTAMENT MD 2 The Blue 1 is not suitable for waterproofing places with negative water pressure;
-
If BOTAMENT MD 2The Blue 1 is used for pool waterproofing, the pool filling test (impermeability test) can be performed 7 days after waterproofing is completed.
