Construction of a concrete terrace
Stages of work
Foundation preparation
The layout of the site, compaction of the soil.
Install of a concrete horizontal slab
-
Laying polypropylene film.
-
Reinforcing frame device.
- Pouring a concrete slab using MasterPozzolith 3094 concrete admixture.
Why use a concrete admixture when constructing a concrete terrace outdoors?
-
MasterPozzolith 3094 is a water-reducing concrete admixture, a plasticizer based on modified lignosulfonate.
- Plasticizing admixture for concrete, increases the workability of the concrete mixture and the mechanical characteristics of concrete, as well as the rapid set of strength, at an early stage of concrete maturation, by reducing the water-cement ratio.
Device of a concrete terrace with plasticizing additives for concrete
Scope of additive for concrete mix MasterPozzolit 3094
-
For the production of concrete supplied by a concrete pump and placed by hand.
-
Production of ready-mixed concrete, with a long time of maintaining the mobility of the concrete mixture, in the warm season.
-
For the production of reinforced structures.
-
For the production of concrete goods.
- The possibility of using one type of admixture for the production of various types of concrete.
Benefits of additives based on lingosulfonates MasterPozzolit 3094
-
Reduces the amount of water by at least 12% compared to concrete without additive.
-
Provides a low W/C ratio and provides easy pumping with the same workability compared to concrete without additive.
-
Provides high performance in concretes, with low cement dosage and allows to obtain stable concrete quality.
-
Provides high strength, durability and high density, after curing, 28 days, with proper care of fresh concrete, due to the low water-cement ratio compared to concrete without additives.
-
The concrete mix is easy to place and the risk of segregation is reduced.
-
When used together with low early strength cements, the early strength of the concrete is lower, but the final concrete strength values are higher compared to concrete without additives.
-
Obtaining a smooth and high-quality surface of the concrete structure.
-
The possibility of obtaining stable characteristics of the concrete mix, despite the change in the quality of aggregates and cement, the possibility of obtaining different classes of concrete, on one additive.
- MasterPozzolith 3094 does not contain chlorides.
Additives for concrete
Mechanical preparation of the concrete terrace
The mechanical treatment of the concrete base was carried out, the removal of cement laitance and weak particles of concrete, using a grinder.
