Cleaning products |
Fresh water
|
-
In hardened state, cement film remover;
-
All given time intervals are valid at a temperature of + 23 ° C and a relative humidity of 50%;
- An increase in temperature and a decrease in humidity accelerates, while a decrease in temperature and an increase in humidity slow down the processing and curing time.
Foundation preparation
The base must meet the following requirements:
-
dry, clean and unfrozen;
-
ability to carry a load;
-
cleaned from grease, oil, paint, cement laitance, delamination and construction debris;
-
the surface must be level.
Also note:
-
floor irregularities must be leveled with BOTAMENT M 90 or M 100 mortar;
-
large floor areas, level with BOTAMENT M 50, M 51 or M 53 Extra mixtures;
- absorbent surfaces primed with BOTAMENT D 11 primer;
-
the base must be checked for residual moisture, for example with a hygrometer: maximum permissible residual moisture base unheated and heated: 2%;
-
anhydrite screed 0.5% 0.3%;
-
minimum age of concrete surfaces: 3 months;
-
maximum layer thickness of BOTAMENT M 29 when applied to asphalt concrete screeds: 5 mm;
- if the substrate is made of non-absorbent material or of old tiles, it must first be primed with BOTAMENT D 15 primer (use only indoors) or apply a thin contact layer of BOTAMENT M 29 adhesive 24 hours before facing.
Application
-
Knead the mixture with cold, clean water, slowly mixing with a low-speed mixer, until a homogeneous, hard pasty mass is obtained;
-
After ripening, stir again;
-
First apply a thin contact layer of mortar mix BOTAMENT M 29 to the substrate using the equal side of the spatula;
-
Pour BOTAMENT M 29 onto the substrate, then spread BOTAMENT M 29 over the fresh contact layer, using the notched side of the trowel (use a trowel with at least 10 mm notches);
-
With a light effort and moving the tile from side to side, squeeze it into the adhesive and level it;
- After the first mixing and maturation, the mixture loses some mobility, and after repeated mixing it becomes fluid again, therefore, in no case should water be added to the mixed mixture, as this may lead to deterioration of its characteristics and separation.
Recommendations
-
When installing ceramic coatings, all existing rules and regulations in their current versions should be observed;
-
In case of laying tiles on fresh cement screeds, please contact technical support for advice;
-
For best results, we recommend that you test-apply the product yourself before using it;
-
If the base is made of gypsum-containing material, the manufacturer's instructions must be followed;
-
BOTAMENT M 29 must not be mixed with other additives.
