VIMATOL-BE | It is a liquid additive for concrete, accelerating the hardening and curing of the concrete mass.

  • When used in fresh concrete, there are processes counteracting the expansion of freezing water;

  • VIMATOL-BE is an auxiliary material and is used for concreting at low temperatures;

  • During concreting, at an ambient temperature of -5 ° C and after sunset, when the temperature drops to -10 ° C, the hardening concrete will already have gained the necessary early strength to withstand the processes that occur later;

  • VIMATOL-BE can also be used in any other way to achieve early concrete strength: fast formwork dismantling, walking on the surface of the concrete structure being made, etc.

  • VIMATOL-BE is added to the mixing water or ready-mixed concrete before it is used;

  •  The resulting mass is mixed in a concrete mixer for 5 minutes.

Efficiency

  • At the recommended dosage, the early compressive strength of concrete increases by 5% per day and more than 30% in two days;
  • On the 28th day, the final set of strength is fixed;

  • Recommendations for concreting at low temperatures;
  • Do not concrete if the ambient temperature is less than -15 °C;

  • Do not concrete if the ambient temperature expected in the next 12 hours is less than -10 °C;

  • The temperature of the materials used in the manufacture of concrete must be at least 0 °C;

  •  The use of high early strength cement 42.5 R or better 52.5 R is recommended;
  • The minimum cement content must be at least 350 kg/m3 and the maximum W/C ratio = 0.58, which corresponds to concrete with low water permeability;
  • The use of superplasticizer VIMATOL-SPL simultaneously with VIMATOL-BE allows the production of concrete mass with a low mixing water content;

  • During the curing process, concrete releases heat. 

  • To prevent heat loss, the structure must be protected for the next 3-4 days, covering it with plastic wrap.

Storage

  • The shelf life of VIMATOL-BE is 12 months in sealed original packaging at an ambient temperature of +5 °C to +35 °C.
  • Additives to concrete significantly improve its performance, but this does not relieve the user from strict adherence to the laws of Concrete Production Technologies.
