Application

SUPERFLEX K77 | Dry adhesive mixture of white and gray color based on Portland cement, inert fillers of selected fraction and organic additives.

Highly elastic (class S1) one-component tile adhesive , no need to add latex;
High adhesion adhesive for tiles, with traditional building substrates;
Adhesive for tiles superflex k 77, has a high thixotropy - a high content of polymer additives;
The product was developed using the new Litokol Dust Reduction system, which significantly reduces dust emission during glue mixing, improving working conditions and ensuring the safety of the master;
This tile adhesive , with very low emission of volatile organic compounds, complies with class A+ (French Regulation).

Designed for interior and exterior, floor and wall cladding, including balconies, terraces, stairs, facades, as well as laying tiles on bases with increased operational or vibration loads and industrial floors;
It is used for laying any type of ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, natural stone (including moisture resistant);
Particularly recommended for laying large-format porcelain tiles, even on poorly fitting substrates;
Superflex tile adhesive , characterized by high thixotropy and can be used for laying on vertical surfaces even without the use of spacers;
Due to the high content of polymer additives, it is used for laying on heated cement screeds;
Floor and wall coverings with old cladding (re-cladding);
For gluing insulating panels made of polystyrene, polyurethane foam, glass wool, as well as for lining substrates treated with waterproofing.

The bases must be dry, even, strong, have sufficient bearing capacity;
Surfaces must be pre-cleaned from all kinds of dirt, dust, traces of grease, oils, paints and any substances that weaken the adhesive ability of the adhesive.

The purpose of the implementation of expansion joints is to divide the continuity of the tiled surface in order to compensate for dimensional changes and deformations to which a multi-layer system consisting of tiles, adhesive and base is subjected;
Joints must be taken into account both in the adjacent layers and in the cladding.

Seam filling products: profiles made of PVC, aluminium, steel (depending on the intensity of the foreseen walking) or silicone sealants from the Litokol range.

Mix in a clean container 8 - 8.5 liters of clean water and 25 kg (1 bag) of Superflex K77 dry adhesive mixture;
Slowly pour the powder into the water with constant stirring with an electric drill with a mixing attachment until a homogeneous, lump-free solution is obtained.

Spread the prepared adhesive solution on the base surface with the smooth side of the trowel, forming a layer of 1 mm, and immediately after that, apply the comb adhesive solution with the notched side of the trowel;
The size of the spatula teeth is selected depending on the format of the facing tile and should ensure that the reverse side of the tile is covered with glue by 65 - 70% for interior work and 100% for exterior cladding and floors subject to heavy loads;
Also, for external facings or in places with increased loads, it is recommended to apply glue both on the base and on the back of the tile (double application method).

The tile is laid on the adhesive with pressure to ensure its contact with the adhesive surface;
The time of the open layer of the product at normal temperature and humidity is 30 minutes.

A hot or windy climate or a highly absorbent substrate can reduce this by a few minutes;
Therefore, when working, it is recommended to check the absence of a formed film on the surface of the adhesive more often;
If the film is nevertheless formed, it should be removed from the surface by passing over it with a notched trowel;
The tile is laid with seams, the width of which corresponds to its format.

It is not recommended to lay tiles end-to-end;
When laying, observe expansion and dividing seams;
Leave a gap of at least 5 mm wide along the partitions, as well as at the junction with any other protruding elements;
The lined surface must be protected from water during the first 24 hours, and also, during the first 5-7 days - from frost and direct sunlight.

For grouting, you can use cement grouts of the Litochrom series, epoxy grouts of the Starlike series and Epoxystuk X90 ;

For acid-resistant floors, Epoxystuk X90, Starlike and Starlike Defender epoxy grouts are recommended.

At low ambient temperature, high humidity and increased thickness of the adhesive layer, the curing time of the adhesive increases;
