Sikafloor -ProSeal-12 | Varnish for the floor
Acrylic varnish, membrane forming agent for concrete and topping floors
Installation of industrial floors
Liquid hardener for concrete floors
Acrylic impregnation for concrete
ikafloor -ProSeal-12 | It is a transparent solution based on acrylic resins.
-
Sikafloor-ProSeal-12 - is used to care for the surface of concrete, contributes to the strengthening and compaction of the surface layer of concrete.
-
Sikafloor-ProSeal-12 is used as the last technological operation after concreting, as a rule, as a final coating of hardened concrete floors after their final grouting.
- It meets the requirements of the EN 1504-2 standard.
Application
-
Sikafloor-ProSeal-12 creates durable, wear- resistant and dust-free coatings on existing or freshly laid concrete floors;
-
Designed for protection against penetration (Principle 1, method 1.2 according to EN 1504-9);
- Designed to increase wear resistance (Principle 5, method 5.2 according to EN 1504-9).
Characteristics / Advantages
-
Additional strengthening of concrete;
-
Increased resistance to abrasion, protection from dust;
-
Decrease in surface permeability, increase in resistance to oil and oil products;
-
Quick and easy application;
- Possible operation on the day of application.

The quality of the base
The concrete base must be free from water and impurities;
Preparation of the base
Sikafloor -ProSeal-12 should be applied to freshly laid concrete, immediately after final grouting or to an untreated surface of existing concrete.
Applying
-
The working surface must be divided into parts for uniform distribution of Sikafloor-ProSeal-12;
-
The material can be applied by spraying, roller or brush;
-
One layer, as a rule, is enough to obtain a dust-free glossy surface;
-
The surface with applied Sikafloor-ProSeal-12 must be protected from drafts and high temperature;
-
Containers with Sikafloor-ProSeal-12 must be stored in a cool place;
-
Sikafloor-ProSeal-12 , applied to freshly laid concrete, provides additional sealing, protects against premature evaporation of water, and when applied to an existing concrete surface, provides additional strengthening;
-
Due to its exceptional penetrating properties, Sikafloor-ProSeal-12 reinforces a thicker surface layer than similar materials;
-
Material that has not been absorbed into the concrete surface will form a shiny film that will rub off over time during use;
-
When the floor is dirty (for example, during construction and high humidity), light spots may temporarily form, which do not affect the mechanical properties of the concrete floor;
-
Sikafloor -ProSeal-12 makes the surface waterproof and resistant to the penetration of oil products;
-
However, to prevent the appearance of stains, such substances must be immediately removed from the surface;
-
Contamination when cutting seams can cause a whitish tint on the surface, but only if Sikafloor - ProSeal-12 has not yet dried;
-
On the surface of the Sikafloor-ProSeal-12 material, after preliminary grinding, it is possible to apply epoxy, vinyl, acrylic (in solution or emulsion) and alkyd coatings;
- However, we recommend preliminary testing of the compatibility and adhesion strength of these coatings on a test surface.
Drying time
The surface is dry to the touch after 2-4 hours at +20 °C. Full drying after 24 hours at +20 °C.
Overlap
If you want to get a painted surface, you can additionally apply a color layer after thorough cleaning of the surface.
Efficiency
Compared to untreated concrete, permeability reduction by 75% when applying 1l/6 m².
Cleaning the tool
-
Wash the sprayer and nozzles after use with a solvent;
- Do not use a sprayer previously used for spraying silicones or oils.
