Surface preparation
-
The surface must be firm, dry, dust-free, clean and even.
-
The surface must be well cleaned from the remnants of any kind of oils, grease and paraffin, there must be no loose particles on the surface.
-
Surfaces with irregularities between 5 and 20 mm deep must be repaired two days before laying tiles with MasterEmaco S 488 repair mortar.
Laying ceramic tiles
-
The concrete surface must be dry and sound at least 28 days old.
-
Depending on the size of the ceramic tile, use a trowel with at least 4 mm teeth, apply a 2 mm thick layer, lay the tiles, and start grouting the next day.
Surface preparation for grouting
-
Before grouting ceramics, acid-resistant ceramics and granite, you must wait until the adhesive used for laying has reached a sufficient degree of strength.
-
Before using grout for joints, it is necessary to clean the surface mechanically, without damaging the ceramic tiles.
Mixing
-
One package of MasterTile 700 contains the measured amount of material required to prepare the mix.
- If only part of the package is to be used, then it is necessary to mix component A and component B in a ratio of 100/4 respectively (by weight), then both components must be mixed with a mixer at 400 - 600 rpm. for at least 3 min. until a homogeneous mass is formed.
Mode of application
-
MasterTile 700 prepared for grouting should be spread over the application surface and then grout the joints with a plastic trowel or hard rubber trowel.
-
Excess material is removed from the surface of the seams with diagonal movements. (For deep seams, you must first wait for the material to shrink, and then repeat this step.)
-
Depending on the temperature of the environment and the surface, it is necessary to leave the solution for 15-30 minutes, and then clean the surface with a suitable sponge and hot water with powder, making circular movements, and give the joints a final look.
-
A sponge that has become soiled during washing must be replaced.
Application with mortar gun
-
The prepared mix of MasterTile 700 should be placed in the mortar gun loaded through the spout and the joints should be filled.
-
Excess material is removed from the surface of the seams with a hard rubber trowel in diagonal movements.
Ceramic tile cleaning
-
The plaque remaining after laying ceramic tiles must be cleaned after 4-10 hours with a suitable sponge and hot water with powder, making circular movements.
-
At the last stage of laundering, it is necessary to add 10% alcohol to the water and wipe the surface.
- Felt can also be used to clean up residue from MasterTile 700 by attaching it to the soleplate of the sander.
Consumption
1.7 kg. For 1 mm adhesive thickness.
Precautionary measures
- MasterTile 700 must be mixed with mechanical agitators, it is strongly not recommended to stir the solution with a spatula.
-
The performance and reaction times of epoxy based materials are affected by the ambient and surface temperatures, as well as the relative humidity of the air.
-
Low temperatures slow down the chemical reaction, thus prolonging the processing time of the material, the period of formation of the surface film and the working time of the material.
-
At the same time, the consumption of material also increases due to the increase in the viscosity of the solution.
-
High temperatures, on the contrary, accelerate the chemical reaction and, as a result, the above periods are reduced.
-
To fully develop the strength of the material, the temperature of the medium and surface must not fall below the established minimum.
-
When using MasterTile 700 , if the ambient or surface temperature is below +5°C or above +25°C, an acceptable temperature must be ensured.
-
In addition, work should not be carried out in extremely high temperatures, rainy or windy weather.
- When used in cold weather, to maximize the workability of the material, packs should be stored at +20°C - +25°C in a heated room.
-
Do not add water or new material to a MasterTile 700 mix that has begun to dry out.
- 15-30 minutes after applying the mixture, it is necessary to start cleaning.
-
The surface cleaning procedure should not be carried out using sawdust.
-
Joints between ceramic tiles and pipe entry-exit, concrete or plaster, as well as between ceramic tiles and corner joints or edge joints must be filled with flexible polyurethane sealant MasteSeal NP 474 in order to prevent water from entering under the tiles.
Cleaning tools
After use, used tools and equipment should be rinsed with water. MasterTile 700 can only be mechanically cleaned after hardening.

Security measures
-
Do not approach storage areas during a fire.
-
Store products in well ventilated areas.
-
During work, work clothes, protective gloves, goggles and a mask should be used in accordance with health and safety regulations.
-

-
If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
-
It is forbidden to bring food and drink to the construction site where the material is applied.
