LITOLIV EXPRESS | Leveling mixture for the floor

• The bases must be clean, dry, strong, dense, sufficiently durable, without removable parts and protected from rising moisture;

• Any cracks or chips must be repaired: moisten the surface with Decor Primer Fondo primer and immediately sprinkle with dry sand or quartz with a particle size of 0.4 to 1 mm.

• Porous, highly absorbent and dusty bases must be pre-treated with Primer C, which closes the pores of the base and promotes better spreading and self-leveling of the product;

• Dense and smooth surfaces (concrete, old ceramic tiles, marble chips) should first be degreased with a 10% solution of caustic soda or alkaline detergents, and then treated with the Prepara Fondo primer;

• Anhydrite, gypsum screeds must be pre-polished and primed with Primer C or Primer X94;

• It is necessary to measure the maximum moisture content with a carbide hygrometer, the indicator should not exceed 0.5%.

• It is necessary to provide compensatory seams to divide the continuity of the lined surface;

• As a rule, they should be performed in rooms with an area of ​​50 m2 or 25-30 m2, in the case of a warm floor;

• In rooms with an area of ​​less than 50 m2, it is possible to perform a seam only at the door joints.

• Dilution ratio: 4.4 - 4.8 liters (22-24%) of water per 20 kg (1 bag) Litoliv Express;

• To obtain a solution, you should slowly pour the powder into water with constant stirring at low speeds, using an electric drill with a mixer nozzle to obtain a homogeneous, lump-free solution.

• Attention! Keep the resulting solution for 3 minutes;

• After re-mixing, the solution is ready for use.

• The life time of the finished solution is about 30 minutes, so it is recommended to mix the amount of material that will be used in this period of time;

• If the composition is applied with a plaster pump from a construction mixer, then the amount of water should be the same as with manual preparation.

• The solution is poured directly onto the base and distributed over the surface with a smooth spatula or squeegee, forming a layer of the required thickness;

• It is recommended to roll the surface of the solution with a needle roller for better spreading and removal of air bubbles.

• The solution can also be applied by machine.

• The subsequent installation of tiles, stone, parquet, soft and woven floor coverings can be started after 24 hours;

• When laying the parquet, the thickness of the Litoliv Express layer should be at least 3 mm.

• For laying ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, clinker and cotto: cement adhesive mixtures of class C2 – C2F;

• For natural and artificial stone: Litostone K99, Litoflott K88, Litoelastic.

Waterproofing can be performed with Elastocem, Coverflex or Hidroflex materials, which are applied 24 hours after pouring Litoliv Express and 24 hours before laying the ceramic material.

• Do not add lime or cement to the product;

• Does not apply to bases exposed to the effect of rising moisture;

• Apply at temperatures from +5 to +35 °C;

• Observe the specified amount of water for preparing the solution;

• An excess of water can lead to an increase in the setting time, the possible formation of cracks, chips or a loose surface;

• In a hot climate, store the package in a cool place, protected from the sun;

• Pretreatment of the Primer C surface improves the adhesion of the leveling layer and facilitates the application of the product due to the uniform absorption of the base;

• Do not use the product for purposes not specified in this technical description.
