A task
It is required to perform waterproofing of the horizontal concrete slab of the bridge under the asphalt.
Solution
For waterproofing bridge structures in the Lviv region, it was decided to use an elastic, seamless, sprayed, two-component liquid rubber, Elastofalt Spraykote 90.

A two-component bituminous system that "sticks" very strongly to the concrete base, thereby increasing the life of the bridge.
Temperature resistance
A final layer of asphalt is laid on the waterproofing coating of liquid rubber, which is protected by a layer of thermoset geotextile + a protective layer of bituminous emulsion.

Application of a bituminous primer to increase the adhesion of the protective coating to the substrate.
Liquid rubber spraying
With the help of mechanized equipment, in one layer, the main layer of waterproofing is laid at a rate of 5.3 kg/m2.
Laying a protective coating of geotextiles

On the seamless waterproofing of the bridge, heat-fixed geotextile with a density of 140-150 is laid.
- The protective layer of thermally bonded geotextile allows the main waterproofing layer of Elastofalt Spraykote 90 to withstand the high temperature of the asphalt and its load, as well as the mechanical impact of road equipment when laying the asphalt concrete mixture.
