VIMAPROOF-C | Liquid hydrophobic additive that imparts waterproof properties to cement mortars, screeds and concrete floors.

It reacts with the lime formed during the cement hydration reaction, creating salts that seal the capillary pores in the concrete , as well as creating the hydrophobic properties of the concrete surface.
- An important property of VIMAPROOF-C is that, in contrast to other additives in this category, the material does not reduce the strength of concrete. (Thus, in accordance with table 9 of the ELOT EN 934-2 standard, a reduction in compressive strength of 15% is allowed).

VIMAPROOF-C is used to improve concrete, namely water permeability properties, which is important for floors, foundations, basement walls, water tanks, swimming pools, mines, sewage treatment plants, tunnels, etc .;

It can be added during the preparation of the mortar or before pouring the concrete;

Dosage

Permitted dosage: 1.0-1.4% by weight of cement;
- Recommended dosage: 1.2% by weight of the cement to be used in the field. the reaction of chemical additives affects the properties and proportions of other components of concrete.
Efficiency
For all applications, concrete water resistance properties improve after 7 days by 60 to 70% (according to ELOT EN934-2 >50%), and after 90 days by 45-60% (according to ELOT EN934-2 >40). %).

VIMAPROOF-C , in order to improve the properties of concrete, is combined with VIMAROL and VIMATOL-PL plasticizers, as well as with VIMATOL-SPL superplasticizer ;

Storage

Shelf life of VIMAPROOF-C reaches 24 months, in the original original packaging, at a temperature of +5 + 30 ºС;
