Impregnation for sealing and sealing concrete
Acrylic lacquer, membrane former, solvent-based, for concrete and topping floors
Installation of industrial floors
Concrete industrial floors
Smooth curing of concrete
Fortecoat 1425 | It is both an impregnating and a surface membrane-forming varnish, used as a final coating on concrete floors, both with and without topping.
Properties Fortecoat 1425
-
By applying varnish, the loss / evaporation of water in the concrete is limited , thereby improving the curing conditions, which provide higher strength characteristics of the concrete slab and its surface layer;
-
At the same time, the pores are closed, thereby significantly reducing the absorbency of the surface;
-
Floor systems treated in this way will ensure dustlessness, increase mechanical and chemical resistance and facilitate maintenance.

Application guide
-
Fortecoat 1425 can be applied to fresh concrete immediately after it has been grouted or to existing concrete of any age;
- The substrate must be cleaned before applying the material;
-
It is mandatory to apply Fortecoat 1425 on concrete floors with Fortedur toppings;
-
The coating is applied by roller or spray;
-
The coating must be applied immediately after the final grouting;
-
Fortecoat 1425 is applied in a thin film, one coat is usually sufficient to ensure a dust-free and glossy surface;
-
In a particularly dry or drafty environment, immediately after Fortecoat 1425 has dried, the concrete is additionally covered with textiles or film , protected from wind and drying;
-
In the same way, it is necessary to protect the surface from high temperatures;
-
In case of extremely hot weather, Fortecoat 1425 must be stored in a cool place before use;
-
Due to its excellent impregnating properties, Fortecoat 1425 penetrates and hardens a greater thickness of concrete compared to similar products, which is an undeniable advantage;
-
It is very important that the applied layer is uniform;
-
Uneven application causes the appearance of "spots" on the surface;
-
Excess substance is no longer absorbed into the concrete surface, forms a shiny film, which is gradually eliminated during operation;
-
Fortecoat 1425, provides increased protection against the penetration of water, oils, etc .;
-
Despite this, these substances must be removed from the surface as quickly as possible, in the event of a spill, to prevent staining;
-
Contaminants from cutting seams can cause the surface to turn white if the product is not completely dry.
