Application

Polypropylene fiber BELMIX | Additive for concrete, able to accept shrinkage stresses and significantly reduce the occurrence of microcracks, reinforcing concrete.

This is possible due to the unique microfibrous structure of the material, evenly distributed in solution by hundreds of millions of tiny fibers.

Properties

Polypropylene fiber BELMIX serves as micro-reinforcement of concrete in order to:

  • maximum reduction in the number of microcracks (>95%), which appear at the initial stages of concrete hardening;

  • reducing moisture absorption (33-44%);

  • increase resistance to low temperatures;

  • prevention of damage to the surface, edges and corners;

  • protection against cracks due to dynamic loads;

  • increase concrete bending strength;

  • reduce damage during formwork removal and transition periods.

Mixing

  • BELMIX  should be added to dry mixes or directly to the concrete mixer.

  • It is necessary to mix with a concrete mixer for 1 minute for every 1m3 of concrete.

Consumption

BELMIX is  dosed in proportion:

0.6 kg - 2.7 kg for each 1 m3 of concrete;

  • 0.15 kg - 0.3 kg for each 1 m3 of foam concrete;

  • 0.6 kg for cement-sand mortar, screeds.
