Invisible formwork  profile Arfen SLAB JOINT  (SJ) 185 mm

Description
Characteristics
Appliction
Fixed formwork profile Arfen SLAB JOINT (SJ) | Designed for installation along the borders of the floor maps.

Special stainless steel plates protect the edge of the floor slab from damage due to deformations and mechanical impacts during operation.

Industrial floor profile Arfen Slab Joint, compensates for the movement of plates up to ± 7 mm, in the longitudinal and transverse directions, relative to fixed formwork.

Special petals prevent the edges of the plates from moving vertically relative to each other, keeping the floor surface perfectly flat, with various deformations.

The non-removable steel joint profiles of the Arfen SJ series guarantee high stability when used in heavy traffic.

Reliably protects the edge of concrete from chipping during the movement of loaders and stackers, whose polyurethane wheels completely destroy the edges.

Fixed formwork minimizes the formation of cracks resulting from changes in temperature, humidity, concrete shrinkage and extends the life of the concrete slab.

A fixed formwork is installed immediately before the industrial floor is poured, as a seam for interrupting concreting.

Basic rules for the installation of fixed formwork

Prepare the base for industrial floors.

Install formwork and cut-offs in order to avoid soil subsidence, cracks and destruction during the movement of heavy vehicles.

Install the fixed formwork on the base and fix it.

Thanks to the shape and size of the formwork, this provides optimal compensation for the horizontal movement of concrete segments, and blocks their vertical movement relative to each other, guaranteeing resistance to high loads.

Fixed formwork can be cut at any angle to produce any desired shape.

The next step will be knitting the reinforcing cage and laying it on the floor base.

Next, pouring the sand-concrete mixture.

At this stage, we recommend the use of Polyex Mesh synthetic fiber to increase the concrete's impact resistance and corrosion resistance.

Fibers stop shrinkage caused by early cracking of concrete and also increase its strength.

When pouring a mixture with fiber, a concrete pump is used.

After pouring the concrete mixture, so that air pores do not form and the mixture settles well, alignment should be done using a vibrating screed.

Summing up, we can say that the floor cards can now be poured in turn, one after another, thanks to the fixed formwork, work is easier and faster, material is saved, and the result is of high quality and durability.
