A task
It is required to dismantle the old concrete floor, prepare the base in the form of a sand cushion, reinforce and install a new concrete floor, followed by the application of a wear-resistant polymer coating 2 mm thick.

The decision was made to use an epoxy coating system from Master Builders Solutions, MasterTop BC 372.

Dismantling the old concrete floor
The dismantling of concrete was carried out using specialized equipment and machinery.

Leveling the base and compacting with sand.

Reinforcement and concrete placement
Reinforcement was made using an armored belt made of reinforcement and concrete was delivered to the site using a concrete pump and mixers. Control joints were cut in concrete floors.

The concrete base was ground using a grinding machine.

Padding
The concrete floor was primed twice, in two layers, using a deep-penetrating epoxy primer MasterTop P 617.
Application of MasterTop BC 372 epoxy coating
The device of a polymeric floor, in one layer, 2 mm thick.
The application of a bulk epoxy coating was carried out using a notched trowel, manually, followed by rolling a low-speed roller.

After 2 days, epoxy coating, ready for pedestrian use.

After complete polymerization and drying, the bulk, seamless epoxy coating acquires a dense monolithic structure, capable of carrying high-intensity loads of machinery and equipment.
