Basis
The base must be strong and even.
If there are cracks on the floor, it is necessary to repair the cracks in the concrete floor with repair compounds with a rapid set of strength.
The surface should have a fine porous structure.
Grease stains, dirt, various chemical deposits and contamination must be carefully removed from the surface using a shot blasting machine or milling cutter.
The basis of age and equality must comply with DIN 18202.
Before applying the
waterproofing, the base must be primed with PCI Epoxigrund 390 epoxy primer with a sprinkling of 0.3-0.8 mm sand.
Waterproofing
PCI Apoflex waterproofing is laid in 2 layers with a total thickness of about 1-2 mm.
Wall-to-wall, wall-to-floor joints, corners, expansion joints must be sealed with PCI Pecitape O bjekt sealing tape.
Laying tiles
Laying of tiles is carried out with the help of two-component
epoxy glue PCI Durapox NT plus by the "double-sided coating" method.
Apply a contact layer ("to the height") of tile adhesive using a notched trowel on the base.
Apply the main layer to the new contact layer using a notched trowel with teeth of 6-8 mm.
Then apply epoxy glue to the tile and lay it on the base with glue.
Rubbing seams
Grout is made with PCI Dura p ox NT plus material using a rubber spatula or construction gun (spraying).
After 5-10 minutes after rubbing the seams, the surface of the tile should be washed with a hard sponge, the remains of the rubbing should be removed with a soft foam sponge.
If there is any residue from rubbing after washing, it can be washed off with PCI Special Reiniger Epoxy.
